Plover IIby CuttoothComment: Excellent. That yellow eyebrow pretty much cinches this bird as a Pacific Golden-Plover, Pluvialis fulva. They migrate to northern Alaska coast to spend their summers. Yikes! Message edited by author 2012-04-08 07:13:55. |

Ploverby CuttoothComment: Could be one of several Plovers. From your description, most likely the Pacific Golden-Plover. The field mark of note is the "yellow eyebrow". Great photo. Love the low angle. |
