You know how much I like this... and appreciate this image capture in tough conditions. It's easily one of the best Bear Lake images I've ever seen. Masterful, indeed. Congrats on your top 10 finish.

To the extent YOU have a style, it came through loud and clear in this image. And, it represents the style of AA very nicely. Congrats on your top 10 finish.

A very expertly rendered architectural shot, which should be treated as a good representation of AA's style. Great control of shadow detail. If this is HDR, it is masterfully done. Love the clarity and elements of interest. This is one of my top 10 picks. 10

This is magnificent. You have all the elements of a fantastic landscape scene. I'm impressed with the silk water effect in such a daylight situation. The control of exposure is wonderful. The stillness of the foreground vegetation is no easy task accomplished. The deep DOF really gives a three dimensional effect. I think the portrait orientation works for this scene. Great sky and clouds. I expect this will be a ribbon contender. 10

Of all the images I've viewed so far, this one represents the style of AA the best. The detail in the shadows is masterfully presented. The luminous glow off the pool is superb. Those distant tidal pools have a very eye-pleasing vanishing lines effect. The image offers the viewer a sense of peace and serenity, which I'll bet you experienced in the capture of this scene. One of my top 10 picks. 10

Wonderful view on a rarely becalmed Bear Lake. Love the look into the bottom of the lake. Excellent composition. Sometimes it is a gift to have that Colorado sky muted by overcast. The fog/mist rising off the lake near the far shore is a great element of interest. I truly appreciate how precisely you've levels the lake horizon. (Not that easy!) Superb detail in the rock grain and the forest tree detail. I hope to see this make the top 10. 10

With specimens of song,

Discretion in the interval,
With gay delays he goes
To some superior tree
Without a single leaf,
And shouts for joy to nobody

Another lovely Emily Dickinson poem. Thanks very much!
