Good composition and nice focus. He's anticipating the action coming at him and is in a basic athletic position with knees bent slightly and on the balls of his feet... ready to react in any direction. It's a good pose for a coach to show others, "This is how to be ready."

The black bg really sets this off. Good treatment of the brass. Third Fourth position makes for a good pose. (I played 1st chair trombone at Davenport Central HS in 1969. Could not play in the band during my senior year because I was a football star and the band director would not tolerate my unavailability to march at half time. )

Very good, for sure. Your composition is very eye-pleasing. I like that street level perspective. Great b&w conversion. I would have simply cloned out that black circle middle right. Otherwise, great sharpness with nicely blurred bg.

Magnificent night street scene. The noise does not distract me in the least. I would always trade illumination and stopped action for a little noise. I want to visit the homeland of my ancestors, too.
