For starters (and, I'm sure, for the tenth time), you're allowed to make your image 640 pixels on the long dimension. It's really hard to see at the posted size. From what I can see, the flash shadows aren't objectionable, and you've excluded distracting elements from the composition. The flash eyes on the dog are a little creepy.

Hmmm... overexposure, posterization, soft focus, and needs a flip to make the lettering on the shirt read right. Almost so bad it's good, but not quite.

Nicely done. Better, IMO, from a lower angle to give the glasses more stature. More even light on the bg would help, too.

Better with the light source moved behind your right shoulder, perhaps. Great sharpness and a nice, tight comp.

That's what I want for my combined birthday/X-mas present. Can you get my wife a deal? It's a nice catch. Might be more interesting with a slower shutter so the props were frozen.

I like this as a vertical composition, cropped to a 4:3 ratio from the left side. Includes all the relevant bits and avoids some of the less helpful stuff on the L side. Nice this way, too - just a suggestion.

Nice. Even better w/o the bit of tree and tower at R.
