Seamstress, chef, social secretary, housekeeper, events coordinator, herbalist, nurse, gardener, decorator, and so much more. I am a wife and homemaker and I use many talents to make a beautiful, comfortable, hospitable home.
I was sewing a heart-shaped, crocheted doily onto a pillow for our master bedroom and it occured to me to photograph my hands on the job. This is a typical type of thing I might be doing on any given day.
My camera was on my tripod, and I used one 60 watt incandescent light and some ambient light from 2 nearby windows. Setting the timer, after composing my shot, I just continued with the sewing as the camera fired off. I took about 5 shots of slightly different angles, and I liked this one best.

| Better with the light source moved behind your right shoulder, perhaps. Great sharpness and a nice, tight comp. |
