Beautiful lighting - I love how it fades to black at the bottom of the apples!

Love the simplicity. Beautiful. I'd just as soon not have a frame, though - something this simple doesn't need one - it should stay simple. 9

Incredibly creative idea! Technically, I'd like a little more contrast (white background, darker shadows), but you definitely get a "wow" factor for your originality! Great job!

Beautiful graphic composition. I'm having trouble with everyone arguing about "what irony IS" so I'm judging this time simply on the technical photography and this is definitly a 10. I'm inspired to do something like it!

Beautiful, moody shot. The large black frame is really unnecessary and doesn't add much to the composition, but I won't mark this down for that. 8

My husband and I collect these antique Aladdin lamps - we must have 50 or them - they really ARE nostalgic and you've taken a beautiful picture of this one. I like the window light that fades off to the other side of the frame. I also like that while the window is obviously very bright, your exposure isn't completely blown out. Nice work. 8

Very creative, excellent models, good composition and exposure. I'm not sure that the slight selenium tone adds to the composition, but it's a minor nit-pick. This shot really made me laugh. Great work! 9

Excellent shot, my only 10 of the challenge. The composition is fantastic, with strong diagonals everywhere to add interest, as well as high contrast to make the photo "pop". Nothing extraneous that shouldn't be there (perhaps the can on the back of the toilet tank, but I assume that's some sort of deodorizer.) Nice work!
