My only 10 of the challenge. Silhouettes can be used so effectively in conjunction with a minimalist composition and you've really played that to your advantage. The wires are placed perfectly in the frame to keep balance and the bird's silhouette is very sharp and perfectly sideways. This is a really great shot!

I don't know about serendipity, but it could be overexposed. The composition is interesting, and the colors would be nice, if not for the blown out whites. Whenever I see whites that bright, my initial reaction is to squint, as if I'm looking into the sun. I think that hurts this shot a lot.

I didn't get to vote on this challenge, but this is a truly beautiful shot, composed very well. I think it's my favorite of the challenge - it would have easily gotten a 10 from me!

This is a beautiful sky and a wonderful graphic created by the window. I like how the window panes echo a rising sun and sunbeams juxtaposed to the real sunbeams behind. However, it BEGS to be perfectly centered or else have the "rays" of the frame coming out from the corner. As it is, the placement of the panes seems haphazard and keeps this from really being as spectacular as it could be.
