mid morningby ursulaComment: Ahhhhhh... Lovely work, meets the challenge perfectly. Great tonal range, with details visible in both the blacks and whites. Good choice for a b/w shot - those clouds really give the image punch. |

Downstreamby MaverickComment: The uneven lighting is distracting, but you've nailed the deep DOF pretty well. |

A house and the distanceby TikicharmComment: I love the unusual perspective you've used here. The lines of the house are very interesting, and the water tower leads your eye further into the photo. The upper third of the shot seems wasted to me, however - there's nothing in that gray sky that adds to the picture. Nice job, nonetheless. |

Field in Bloom with Treeby BeagleboyComment: Beautiful and simple. Very nice. A tiny bit oversaturated, I think, which takes a bit away from the overall sharpness, but I LOVE the composition. |

County Fairby L1Comment: Very nice composition and use of deep DOF. The colors seem a bit oversaturated, which I'm sure you did for effect. It works well on the pinks and cyans, but the greens in the back trees have melted together a bit, taking away from the crisp focus. |

Golden Earsby ellamayComment: Nice shot. Good use of deep DOF technique. The canoes really add something to the shot, including the further one out in the water, which leads your eye through the entire photo. |

From here to Infinityby peeceeComment: Nice use of DOF for the challenge. The slope of the hillside makes me want to tilt my head to the left to look at this, even though I know it's straight from looking at the fenceposts. |

Nature's Spirals by kosmikkreeperComment: Wow - I didn't get to vote on this challenge, but now that I'm looking, this entry knocks my socks off. Congrats on the well-deserved blue. Very unusual and beautiful. |
