Aloneby arnitComment: Wow. Dang, there goes any hope I had for first place in this challenge, lol. Simply spectacular use of a wide-angle lens to add amazing drama to the sky. The single figure is really highlighted by the depth of the image, and the overall saturaed, moody tones make this a winner. I predict a ribbon... 10 |

18 Inch Headacheby labudsComment: Good use of a longer lens to flatten out the image. Creative idea, well done. Well lit and composed, including no disturbing reflections in the spanner/wrench, and that vivid blue eye in the middle of the whole shot really catches your attention. I like this more the more I look at it. Good work! |

Swallowed by the Forestby DJLubaComment: Really interesting and unusual perspective. Nice choice of lens to really take something that might be chaotic and uninteresting, otherwise, and really add a sense of being there. Unusual, but I like it. I think this is one that would grow more and more on me every time I look at it. |

Mother and Sonby heidaComment: Positively majestic shot of these two beautiful animals. Great sky, excellent use of the challenge theme and nice choice of lens to add depth from this angle. I don't care too much for the darkness around the edges of the image, but that's just my personal taste. Well done, nonetheless. 9 |
