8 Ouncesby sherComment: Great composition. The high contrast works well here. You managed to get good light and dark tones without losing detail. 8 |

Black Coffeeby MonaComment: That is FUNNY. Very creative use of the glasses, and I like the composition and the lighting also. Nice job. 9 |

Abstract Art Glassby GallatinComment: Very cool. It seems I'm enjoying the abstract images in the challenge the most. This one is particularly beautiful. Great colors, lines, composition, and crisp focus all the way through. Beautiful work. 10 |

76 Degreesby RgoldComment: Excellent shot. Quite beautiful. I have one of these thermometers and have never been able to do a good job photographing it, but I've seen a couple of creative ideas here on DPC. I really like this. I think if the colored liquid were somehow "lit up" it would be a 10. Very close to perfect. 9 |

I prefer what's IN the glass!by bjc0001Comment: I'm not sure that the candy is enhanced at all by the glass, which is supposed to be the subject. For me, this doesn't work very well with the theme of the challenge. I also find the blown out highlights on the candy to be distracting. However, I think this would have done better than average in the 'candy' challenge... |

Two Glassesby nimrod33333Comment: I think your composition is well done and creative, but I'd like to see more detail in the glasses, perhaps sharper focus all the way through using a smaller aperature? |

Fire and Iceby severinComment: I would like this more if there were perhaps more details of the glass lit up - the stem in particular. Tricky lighting situation. I do like what you've done with the red and the "smoky" effect at the top, however. |
