Very observant, Richard (and Louis). I had originally set this up to be a campy pinhole shot with lots of blood and overused icons, while at the same time drawing on the pinhole's infinite DOF for a surreal effect. The harder I tried, the darker it turned, finally resting in limbo - genre-less, and lacking a statement.
Even though I personally consider this photo a miss, I greatly appreciate the generous and constructive comments.
