6:45am - Homeless - Cold

I like this different, iconic view of the homeless. We don't need to see his face to know the wrapper from his last meal never found a trash bin, or that he made the money for that meal by begging from customers while they were filling their gas tanks. He is just another faceless statue, a frozen reminder of our insensitivity.
The thin blanket isn't much protection from an unexpected cold snap in Alabama. Maybe at least one fellow human offered him a warm jacket.

Colors and effect are perfect. I had to look at this on my calibrated monitor to fully appreciate the technique. It is a combination of watercolor, pen/ink, charcoal, plus a few techniques I've never seen before.
If I thought you were actually driving (with your knees) while taking this photo it would be my favorite of this challenge. As it is, this is in a three-way tie for my favorite. Well done!
