a lovely image. well done. the movement, the colour, the blur, all superb. the only quibble i have is with the black border. i find that rather claustrophobic and harsh on an otherwise beautiful image.

i really like the shot too, but it wouldhave scored much higher laid out as a cover. the mystery of the shadow, the repeated patterns, all good.

now this, i like. it reminds somwhat of a trick we used to do in art college. if you tear a polaroid off its backing as soon as it's developed, you can slap it down on some nice watercolour paper, run it through a press (or just stand on it), and you get an image very close to this in appearance. i'd love to see this 10 feet high on a gallery wall. a big gallery.

the cmposition works really well, and his positioning is wonderful - you can feel the pause to get the breath, holding hte wet arms out form his sides. great work, well done in doing what you wanted, rather than what you know will score well.

ya know, i have no problem with not seeing the face. for me it's the fact that she's in street clothes, climbing on her lunchbreak maybe. just thought - hey, i'll climb a wall today - why the hell not? the curl on the toes is just lovely. a great shot, although i do agree with the person who wanted more upper wall.

a wonderful image, the super saturated colours and blown background work well here. the expressions on the women's faces are the perfect counterbalance to the heat of thier saris and the implied heat of the surroundings.

i gave this a 9, and it was greatly underrated by the masses. great work!
