Well this might not look as slick as some of the studio shots that ribbon here, but you are to be commended. You have a distraction-free background - it's a little bit textured (if it were Advanced editing I'd probably have gaussian blurred a duplicate layer and masked off the object, but not much to do in Basic) but on the whole very good. In addition, you created a neat trick effect that gives that "wow" factor that so many voters look for. This image is one that compels the viewer to linger just a little bit longer. Focus could be improved, but lighting is great, and I love your border, as it is not too obvious but compliments the image nicely.
