You've got some nice bokeh going here too.
The eyes need to be brightened up though - the shadows in them are kind of harsh. What does it look like if you isolate them and do a light dodge ? |

Basic editing though - I didn't sharpen the moon itself any more than the rest of the photo.
It was a daylight shot, which I think helped with the definition of the moon itself. |
