Everglades 1.jpgby zaflaboutComment: Excellent shot, the clouds and the light through them are really amazing. The image not having a single defined subject lets your eye wander around and take the whole image in. |

On a calm winter day...by zaflaboutComment: Nice IR shot. I like the symmetry and the vignette (slight at the top, pronounced at the bottom) draws your eye into the shot. It really does look like winter, the water also looks like smooth ice. |

Touchby zaflaboutComment: Good concept. The shot is a bit over-processed for my liking. The slightly darker area at the end of the fork is also a bit distracting. |

City Reflectionsby zaflaboutComment: This is a great shot which I think should have scored better. It might be worthwhile re-shooting this using a longer shutter speed to blur the water. The detail in the water is a little distracting. Since you're only shooting at f/6.3, you will be able to slow the shutter speed by stopping down some more. You will however still have to get hold of some fairly thick ND filters since this is in daylight. |

Maidenby grigrigirlComment: This is an excellent image. It should have done much better, but I suppose it's not DPC friendly enough. It looks even better in the larger resolution in the video. |

Happierby lovethelightComment: I really like the expression. Great lighting and focus. Looking out of the frame adds some mystery to the image, 'what are you looking at?' |

Hocking-4.jpgby jpochardComment: The burnt upper left corner is very distracting. I would crop if out or better yet, reshoot in better light (if possible). The flat light in the top right corner and the way the shadows fall make me suspect that this was shot in midday light (I could be wrong about this). This might come out much better if shot closer to sunset or sunrise. I would also prefer to see the bottom of the lowest fall. I like the composition, the diagonal of the lowest rock ledge make the falls more dynamic. |
