Very clever, especially the lighting, as it brings this image together so well.

Good concept. The shot is a bit over-processed for my liking. The slightly darker area at the end of the fork is also a bit distracting.

Good concept, but overprocessed (the halo around the hand is very distracting) and I'd have either cropped tighter or included the whole hand.

Nice idea, the composition is top heavy. The whole hand wasn't needed. and its a bit over sharpened. 5

Nice idea, but some nasty artifacts

Nice shot and good idea. The tone and lighting is nice but seems to be over sharpened.

Nice designer image. The skin looks a little bit washed out. 8.

Creative idea! Bent fork or not however, your subject should shave their hands before preparing any food.

Hope thats not one of your wifes good fork for she is not going to be a happy camper if it is. I like the shot though

This is funny, and clever. I like it except for the heavy (quite visible) burning in PP. Good luck in the challenge.

Fantastic shot, you have bent the prongs of the fork delicately and to perfection. Shadows a touch distracting but still a great image

very cool image - just wish the hand was a little less noisy - there is a lot of pixelation near the thumb

"your task is to shoot the stuff you use to PREPARE your food."

Besides that, nice idea, but a bit overprocessed. also don't like the crop at top

very cool idea, and i really like the shape of the fork. there are a few things that detract from the image for me, though. the hand is pretty overwhelming in the composition, and is out of the frame a bit at the top. the weird blurry lines in the hand, also... i don't understand what they are so i keep gravitating toward them. and lastly, the hdr technique -- the way it brings out noise in the dark areas and leaves a really visible halo around the hand -- it's too much. this is a concept you should keep playing with, though -- it has a lot of possibility.
