Banana Loveby macrothingComment: Focus is right on and super sharp, but the heavy shadow detracts from the overall image, IMO. I realize the shadow forms a heart (and thus the Love part), but it doesn't quite work for me. Still, a good photo. 6 |

His Nibsby GermaineComment: This is a great capture, but the bird is a little too centered for my taste. Still a very lovely photo. 7 |

Dark Omenby kloutitComment: Nothing like a good black cat picture. (S)he reminds me of my Frank. The facial expression is perfect for this challenge...very ominous. |

Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"by rebs138Comment: I like this. B/W was a good choice. I would like to see the raven a little blacker, though. Not sure how to accomplish that, however. Maybe more contrast? Bump the blacks in selective color? I don't know. He's staring right at me!

Lightning never strikes twice in the same place by M.O.C.Comment: I like this a lot. Conveys the myth very well, and is damn cool looking! That's a lot of lightning. I like the telephone poles heading off into the distance, gives a real sense of scale and depth.

Obliviousby dizneewenchComment: Double trouble...I thought of trying to do something like this with a black cat thrown in. Your take on it is much better than mine would have been (had I even tried). I like the B/W and the angle. He really looks oblivious as well. Very nice. |

Taste Like Chicken.by BullieComment: Wow. This is great. Super sharp, nice bokeh as well. The only thing I would change (if possible) would be to shift everything to the left. Everything currently to the left of the little guy is not very interesting, and I would like to see more of the green behind him. |
