Corn Dogby jcarComment: Uniquely disgusting. Who would put ketchup on his corn dog? |

Dinner time.by hajekaComment: I have no idea what that is, but it looks disgusting. Some kind of seafood, perhaps? It's still a good photo, though. :) |

Rain and Pineby macrothingComment: A lovely semi-recognizable abstract. I really like the bits of rain, and the one bright sharp one is perfect. I'm not as big a fun of the multi-color noise, though. I probably would have turned this into a nice grainy duotone, myself. In fact, I tossed the Nik Silver Efex Pro Soft Sepia preset on it and it looks fabulous. |

The Griggstown Ghost Cowby skewsmeComment: Lots of interesting stuff to look at! I think I actually like it better with the stuff on the right cropped out. Other than that, very cool look and certainly original! |

Primal Scream!by dsa157Comment: Cool shot and cool paint job, but a studio shot of a guy painted up like a super hero isn't very original. |

Jonahby smellyfish1002Comment: Great portrait. Really nice tones, too. I'll bet I'm not the only one that thinks the eyes are just a tad overdone. |

First impression, beautiful image. I personally love a good high contrast B/W image, and this is a great example. If I had to complain about anything, I'd say it lists to the left just a bit. Whether that's actually true or not it's hard to say, but it feels that way to me. The blown out lights don't bother me at all, but that'll get you marked down by many a DPCer. I agree that is could be a bit sharper, but for a 30 second shot without a tripod you done good. :) As far as score goes, this is a pretty good shot but not an amazing shot to most voters. Especially in a free study you really need to bring the wow to get a big score. With that said, I recommend that you don't pander to the masses. I think you've got a great style, and there will always be a minority (at least) that really appreciate it.
Keep up the good work!
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to shoot me a PM.
