I love images of the sky. Sunsets in particular. They are hard to capture as our eyes see it. AP Gave you some great advice so hopefully you will benefit from his wisdom. I have taken tons of shots just like this because I liked something about the scene and wanted to capture it. If I don't think it would be well received by others then I wouldn't share it in a public forum, unless I was specifically looking for a critique. So most of those types of images never leave my computer. Keep shooting and you will find with time that things become easier and more natural.
