Jewel Casesby aprokopiwComment: Keep up the good work. I think the effect warranted a slightly better grade - but who can tell these days! ;-) |

Freckle Faceby jenesisComment: You had a few strange comments such as "This photo is offending!!! >:(" - which I cannot agree with. Wish it had done a little bit better for you. Perhaps accentuate the freckles and clone the handprint. |

The Wise Oneby Judith PolakoffComment: Nicely focused. Perfect mode with no blemishes. But, IMO, the towell is rather off putting. It is the one unatural element in the photo. |

Layers of Lifeby sfaliceComment: Sedimentary geological strata or archaeological horizons, whatever, it needs a little better viewpoint. I wonder how that might be achieved. Zen is more about a single pebble than stratum. |

Once upon a cold & quiet morningby prenticeComment: I could swim in that - being 100 degrees in NYC today. The simplicity lends itself to a Zen subject - but not a rich experience of enlightenment or viewing. Something is missing. |

Balanceby SJCarterComment: It's a remarkable capture - but the framing is a little odd. No flower and too much to the back of the bird. I would have been incined to crop much of the background out. |

Standing Stillby TallblokeComment: Not Avebury. I wonder where. The silhouettes are fairly pleasing and the sky certainly helps you out. |

Samsara (a cycle of death and rebirth)by cislanderComment: I can see the petal - but the brown object is not, to me, immediately discernable as a petal. Immediacy is important. The background text while oriental Chinese and exotic is a little distracting. It is a difficult subject to compose but I think you could make it a little better by removing some of the elements. |
