Your photo stands out among the entries. I like the colours and composition. The features - eyes - are in sharp focus. But using the glass and vaseline (it's only just occurred to me that it is vaseline, my first two trips by I thought it was some sort of shower cubicle glass) you have achieved the overall effect needed. 8.

It's like a scene from Coetzee's book, The Life and Times of Michael K. I prefer the colour edition because it communicates a different, more desolate, feeling.
