Tree Lightningby MrXpressComment: Dendritic or forked is the term, I think. And, as you say, it does emulate lightening as the branches bifurcate away from the trunk. |

Bacheloretteby CalliopeKelComment: Lovely textures of nature in your photo. That is a really tree-shaped tree - not that there is such a thing in real life. |

Summer's Endby AlexSaberiComment: Nicely titled and the image really does suggest that time of year. I like the colours a lot - but the higher sky is a bit odd to me. |

feathered by fogby skewsmeComment: The nearer silhouette, being that much deeper in hue, distracts somewhat. Overall, though, I like the image. |

Kitsilanoby seebrownComment: That shaggy tree certainly does make its presence felt. I bet it's nice and shady in the daytime. |

Can't miss itby jjbeguinComment: That is a great play on visual words. Love the b/w rendition too and the tree (date palm?) has a decent amount of character. 8. |

Mighty Oakby SunnieeComment: The fence really boosts this image and the tree hanging silently in the background has a strong presence. Nice work. 8. |

A matter of perspective.by zarniwoopComment: I see what you mean - I think. A thistle to an ant is in fact as a giant redwood is to a human. As you say, a matter of who is viewing the image. How about a little noise reduction? |
