Shopping for Sabbathby LevTComment: Nice job. I like this on the voting round and came back to find out more. I expect it would look pleasant in b/w too. |

Heelby boodComment: This was and is a heck of a jolt and a shot too. Nice work. Not sure why, I usually find your style appealing. I failed to comment at the time but voted a 7. Keep up this inspiring work. Getting comments feels better almost than votes, right! |

Tumulusby jjbeguinComment: Tumulus is a word I associate with Britain and I was wondering who this photo might belong to and where it was taken. It's hard to appreciate the delicate subtlety of this lovely image in the context of a challenge. I like the high placement in the frame of the horizon. Glad to see some more of your work too. It is inspiring. Season's Greetings to you. |

APOCALYPSEby Joey LawrenceComment: I got this feeling that this was Joey's. But there are so many imitators these days that it's hard to tell for sure. It's one of those types of images that is an acquired taste - like anchovies or blue cheese - but once it does there is a place in the pantry for it. How are the edges of that lens on the 5D. I'm thinking of changing body to the 5D but in doing so I will bankrupt myself and will not be able to buy another lens for ten years ;-) Is it muddy on the corners? |

The Edge of Reasonby scared_of_the_darkComment: I gave a 6 but came back out of curiosity to find out more. The image had a dark feeling to it which sort of repelled me at the time. The large blank space on the left didn't seem to contribute much. The ceiling does contribute a lot, though. On returning, I can see past my initial feelings of rejection. It's an image - like blue cheese - that is an acquired taste, if you know what I mean. |

The Moorby dippydazComment: You got an 8 from me. I love the sparse, open space. Wild nature at its best - presented in a completely uncompromising way. I like the way Falc, one of the commenters, presents nature, softened down with boulders and trees of interest in the foreground. But that's not the way it happens in real life - or at least only sometimes. Keep up the good work. |

Cruel Beautyby ShmeeComment: Nice with your notes and story. I wonder what was mined? Copper? Hard rock mining is a special profession. Once involved, one never forgets. |

Christianaby kyeboshComment: As Qart said below, you selected a very pleasant editing process. The model is really very lovely and classic (which is why I think the lip ring - is it? - is a jarring element in her presentation, though not the photographer's fault). Nice work and I look forward to seeing some more with this classic feeling of beauty.
