Indeed, well done. An inspiring way to shoot the models. Where there's a will, there's a way. Your shot should be an inspiration to all of those out there with no 5D, no studio, no studio lights etc. At the end of the day, brilliance can shine through regardless. Lovely shot and that lens does the job nicely. The fill flash is pretty subtle - I assume it's the on camera flash. This camera the XT has exceeded my expectations. Sometimes noise in a very blue sky on a bright day is a bit of an issue. But overall a good little machine.
