It probably isn\'t, but this shot reminds me of Chicago\'s lake shore. It\'s really good how you caught the wave splash, and I can hear the water, wind, and the gulls. The border bothers me a bit, and there\'s a slight discolouration right around the edge of the picture and by the horizon. The picture almost looks like it might have been sharpened a bit too much. Good job. ~7

Hi, Karma,

I really hope people didn't give you lower scores because this is a "kid pic". There's no need for that. This is a beautiful picture of your son, and a very good entry to "Duotones" - I like it very much!

I don't have that much to say about the photo, as I think it is quite good the way it is. I like the soft focus. The crop is perfect, the square format is a great choice here. The little boy's expression is wonderful to look at. I bet he's going to treasure this picture when he grows up.

IMO, the colouring could be a little more towards the orange rather than the reddish tone (but that's just my preference). I think sepia is a good choice for this photo, but not so much the reddish tint.

Anyway, keep up the good work!
