Shifting Sandsby aznymComment: or, so many footprints, so little time. Good take on the challenge, excellent composition, love square crop. Reminds me of a jjbeguin. (8) |

Random lightby mpetersComment: Beautiful shot, reminds me flying in/out of Denver, mountains to the West, square fields to the East. It probably is not Denver though (so much green?). In a funny way, this makes me think more of "peaceful" than "busy". It is a beautiful photo though. (8) |

Bustling Park Avenueby dmmontyComment: Good entry for "busy". IMO, this particular take would need to be very sharp to be totally effective, and it isn't. Also, it would be nice if the sky were not so light. Lastly, I am wondering if you tried a vertical (more street less building at the sides)? (7) |

Busy Architecture by KarenNfldComment: Excellent entry! Reminds me of the Basilica in Old Montreal (but it's not that one). I think you have a winner here :) |

Flower Powerby SteveJComment: I had to come back to this image. First of all, the score is way too low (in my opinion) for the quality and execution of the image. It is very difficult to "get a high score" with this kind of image.
What I am wondering though, why did you choose a movement image, why did you choose this movement image? It is the kind of image that grows on you: the more I look at it, the more I like it. Contrary to what I said before, the movement does add to this image, it makes the image. But why?
I am so very much trying to understand camera movement pictures. They are so very attractive, but I don't understand the purpose or meaning of them for the most part - usually they seem to me like a picture with movement but why?
Oh well. It's late.

Portrait of an Artistby NeilComment: Beautiful image, great post-processing. Certainly looks like a painter. Want to hear my one nitpick? I'll put it in parenthesis (in case you want to ignore it). (I wish you would have picked a different shirt, one of those white poet shirts with gathers at the shoulders and a floppy collar - I think it would have completed the image). |

Busy Shedding Skinby scared_of_the_darkComment: Wow! Cool capture. Well done, focus is right where it's supposed to be (on the eye), choice of DOF is excellent, love the soft colours. (9) |

Etherealby Dax-Comment: Congratulations on your top 10 finish! This should have ribboned (IMO). |
