sailingby salmiakkiComment: It does not feel hot and sunny to me at all, which is funny, since you say that's the kind of day it was. Hehe, you're going to laugh, 'cause yes, for me it is a bit too abstract (or a bit too, I don't know, not enough there?). And I love abstract! It's almost like there's too much information in a way, too much stuff, and not enough content. I hope that is not too harsh, I really hope so. |

Rowing to shoreby salmiakkiComment: The very straight, shiny lines of the (what do you call it, the stick you use to row) at the left of the boat create a very weird feeling to this, 'cause they contrast so sharply to the much more organic shapes of the water and the rest of the boat/person. You should capitalize on this. |

Bluebellby SaraRComment: Very gentle! I like the feeling of this image, like being in a garden in Spring. I think you're right, it would be a little more effective with a bit more space at top, to give the flowers (and the idea) room to breathe. |

California Poppy #4by bspurgeonComment: A Ca Poppy lost in the grasses! Or found. YEAH! I love those flowers. In this case, I really do miss the colour though (I think, not sure ...) |

Flowby Bear_MusicComment: Y o Y do U ask?
Of course, it is a peanut butter sandwich being stabbed by a fork, reflected in water in a dish in your sink, no artificial lighting. |

Trees, Strensall Commonby SaraRComment: On the plus: it looks dreamy and the colours are pleasant; trees are a beautiful subject!
On the downside: the centred compo is not all that pleasing to my eyes, that is, just looking at it my eyes hit straight on the trunk in the almost middle and sort of bounce out of the picture
Overall: It has a beautiful feel, but it could be better, I think, with a more careful composition.
Disclaimer: Just my silly opinions. |
