A negative, right? Looks nice. IMHO, you could try and smoothen the handle a bit - it looks a bit blotchy. I like the grain in the shadow.

I think you have a good idea here, the colours are nice, the shapes are nice, but I also think that the picture might be more effective if the focus where different. It is too narrow (the field in focus) IMO for the photo to be effective.

Ginsu Knife

I keep thinking I've seen this knife before. Hmmmm. But it didn't look quite like this. I guess many people have knives like this. It looks beautiful on the inverted bowl, and I like the frilly tart plate edge (is that what it is?) - makes it look like a sleeve or a skirt.

Out of curiosity (and you can answer after the challenge if you want, although I don't mind either way), why would you use the side with writing on it? Do both sides have writing?

And the title is just right also - makes me hungry to just look at it, ahhh, a cup of good coffee and some toast and jelly, sitting on a porch, watching the birds fly by (just dreaming, it's cold, grey and snowy here).
