Guess what? This photo was made 1 minute and 16 seconds after the other one above, and about a block down the road (I was in my Subaru for both, too lazy to get out).

Beautiful, vibrant and colourful. Love the square crop. Good use of the rule of thirds. It looks a bit overprocessed, but I'm thinking that was your goal here. The shallow DOF is an interesting problem here, it works for the fork tips, but it also gets part of the foreground (chair arm???) in focus, just a little strip of it, and I'm wondering if that's good or not.

I like this concept, and I really like the patterns and colours in the image. I wonder, however, if the picture might be a bit more effective if the door were not centred, but to one side - sort of like imagine yourself walking sideways about 3-5 steps and making the same picture.
