Soarby zhekaComment: Beautiful image! Hard to imagine where you were in relation to the bird for this shot. I think that for the challenge, even though it is snow in the background (it is snow, right?), the background doesn't look white, neither does it really give the impression of white. ~6 |

The Sentinelby BradComment: Very nice. I like the stern look this bird has, and how it is looking into the negative space, making it interesting. ~9 |

Ice Blueby JutildaComment: Beautiful idea. On my screen, the image looks rather washed out, and maybe that is the effect you were going for here? I think it would have worked a bit better if the background weren't so busy at the right side of the image. I also think that for the washed out look to really work, there has to be something, even just a little detail, that is not washed out, something to define the image. But that's just my opinion :) ~7 |

CATby rtscribbs02Comment: A cat learning to read! That's neat. Doesn't quite work for light on white, because the letters are whiter than the background. The cat could be a bit sharper too maybe. ~6 |

Backlit Bougainvillaeby XileboComment: Well done. Love the little lightning like reflection of the stem on the glass. The light is beautiful. ~9 |

King Of The Bridgeby senor_kasperComment: Nice clean shot of this bird, beautiful sky colour, but, even with the diagonal perch, it doesn't really sell the concept of diagonal. ~5 |
