Day1 - Irisby PrismComment: Beautiful detail, especially on that front petal going down. That little yellow hairy part looks just right. |

Day One by TuckersmomComment: Excellent work, I particularily like the inside part of the flower - worth further exploration. |

Day 1 by WriteHeartComment: I like the colours, and I think the focus is quite good. The composition looks a bit busy to me on the right hand side. I wonder if moving around with your camera so that you get a cleaner background (or a good out of focus background) would help. |

Floral Day 1by JeniYComment: Beautiful treatment for the flowebud. There is a funny sort of disjointed aspect to the image, between the very sharp bud and the background leaves, and I'm not sure that they go so well together in this case. I wonder if cutting closer, just the bud on black, might not work. |

Clover1.jpgby motherleeComment: Clover are so beautiful, so gentle. I like the subtle (but not too subtle) colours. I am not so sure about the centred composition, and what on my screen looks like a bit heavy NI (the blurring??). |

Last Petals.jpgby SheryllComment: I like the clarity of the inside part of the rose. The idea also is quite good. I'm not quite as sure about the strong vignette - IMHO a subtler vignette might work well here. |

Day One, 7-01-07by Bear_MusicComment: I like the half and half composition, the different directions in which they're pointing, and the colour scheme. I am not so sure about the purplish dead rose looking so much more in focus than the brownish one. Somehow, to my mind, in a picture like this one they should be equally in focus ??? Just an idea. |
