net at nightby dewedComment: the figure is almost silhouetted, but the picture is not simply of the figure. It is at least as much, if not more so, a picture of the net, as your title suggests. Even while it verges on abstraction, the net brings forth all sorts of allegorical and personified meaning. One of my faves for this challenge. |

Brother in armsby honikumComment: Like the monkeys with darkened faces, the hiding of facial expression gives more importance to the gesture. In this case, it's the way they're holding each other around the back, a gesture of mutual support. Not to mention I was hoping to see some backs in a challenge called "backlighting". 10 |

Death's Doorby ibkcComment: great use of a long exposure time. The ghostly figure looks like it was painted on the door... or perhaps the afterimage of an atomic explosion! The V of light on the bottom completes the composition. I have 10 10s, and this is one of them. |
