Amazing that a political ideology would keep someone from sympathizing with an uncle who has lost his nephew. I think THAT is what the photo is about, as opposed to what the T-Shirt is about.

I was one of your 8s. Being completely out of focus gave it a flatness that I liked. It makes your "opening" more subtle. I have to admit I'm interested in Dr. Achoo's suggestion, though. It might ruin the illusion, but not necessarily. It would be worth trying.
