Don Petronio Corleoneby seebrownComment: I don't think the marketing execs are going to like the purple rose. What does it mean? Why not a drop of blood from a red rose? But I'm not a marketing exec. I'll trust the movie to explain the purple. Maybe Louie the Lilac is back in town! Many movie posters create a symbolic image like yours instead of a still from the movie. This is a good example. The drop of blood tells us plenty about what to expect. |

Demonic Psychotic Chickenby suemackComment: your three color treatment would work great as a poster. The o.t.t. redundancy of your title makes me think this is horror parody rather than horror. That's good. I prefer comedy! :) |

Dragon’s Portal Courtyardby ShamanComment: Nice composition, though I'm not entirely convinced about this movie. A movie about a courtyard? From your shot I'd say the movie is really about the portal. You do a pretty good job of making me wonder what's in the portal, but then again your composition is so balanced that it adds a certain serenity that undercuts the suspense. Still I might go see the movie just for the cinematography! :) |

Dogs Prefer Carsby weiszComment: But I don't know what the dog is using the car for. S/he seems merely to be posing on it. The photo, though a pleasing composition, is static. It doesn't seem like part of a movie and doesn't make me want to see what's going to happen (and what has already happened), the way a poster should. |

Darling Pavlova's Confessionsby AnastasiaComment: Hmm... no fair using Scarlett Johannsen!! ;) Great model and nice striking composition that a poster needs. I'm a little bit thrown, though, because she doesn't seem to be dancing but she does seem to be posing. For me to feel like I'm in the movie, even if only for a moment, the shot should feel candid, unless of course she's performing (or perhaps talking to an interviewer, to relate to the title). |

Destination paradise castleby OdieComment: Yes, this works. I imagine a suspense/mystery drama, where the castle turns out not to be such a "paradise" after all. |
