Plastiscizedby jgm5015Comment: Great, idiosyncratic crop. No distracting details. A good abstract shot. |

Movement of Linesby prkembyComment: I love this and I hate fireworks shots. I gave it a 7. It doesn't seem like merely documenting an explosion. These seem real, tangible, like feathers. |

Lifelineby ReM_FrComment: I gave this a 7 because you transformed your hand into something else, something abstract and mysterious. |

Brokenby KWStudiosComment: ouch. what a poignant image. excellent idea to put the butterfly on a mirror. you seem to be saying something about vanity, self-esteem, self perception, etc. |

Veins: the life linesby Jaded_HousewifeComment: I think it is disturbing in a good way. A good image should disturb the viewer, rattle his/her expectations. the striking composition, the way the veins are slightly out-of-focus even though they are the subject of the photo, disorient the viewer just enough to make him/her vulnerable, to open him/her up to a surprising intimacy with the subject. It's a little bit scary, as being alive should be. I, for one, did not worry about the child. Look at that face! Nothing could be more healthy. |

Destination Lavenderby Kaja LundComment: so exciting to see a butterfuly in flight! and your composition only emphasizes the dynamism of it. Even the background elements seem to help. |
