Tomboy? by JulieGComment: she's better off being a tomboy. I fell in love with meanwile because she doesn't throw like a girl. Creative yet perfectly on target fulfillment of the challenge. 8 |

Capt. Walt, Seafarerby jrjrComment: love the red and green. dynamic composition, with subject's "lines" going directly against the framing lines. perfect fulfillment of challenge. some of the background elements toward the top are a little distracting, though. 8 |

Absent mindedby MelethiaComment: You use perspective to get the whole door into the shot, which visually justifies the cropping off of the head, as does shooting from the floor. I wish the highlights inside the doorhole were... I dunno... something more mysterious. But the rest of the shot wins my confidence and I am still able to wonder about it fruitfully. 9 |

Lossby LoreneComment: expressive coil of body counterposed by expressive straight line with varying highlight, further complicated by a curving stain in the floor. It doesn't necessarily say "loss" to me but it does say "photography". 9 |

Vogueby judojoeComment: creepy as hell, it reminds me of the Dadaists/Surrealists trying to undermine high culture as well as art... and the picture itself looks to be from that time, even though it is in color. 10 |

Dark and Light of the Mindby heathenComment: amazing how a simple gesture transforms the wall into a landscape of the mind. the rectangles turn into thoughts. We wonder about the tiles... what is it that composes our thoughts? Could those be the fears, the hidden motivations behind all ideas? 9 |

Don'tby fotomann_foreverComment: I love the prickly texture that extends from his skin through his hair to the highlight on the wall. Your title really refines the disturbing feeling of this photo, suggesting that photography itself is a form of abuse. 9 |

Featherby Arti-ElviComment: You look like Mandy Turner. This shot has a great feel to it. Reminds me of photos of the original punk rock scene. I could easily believe this was a portrait of Iggy Pop taken by Richard Avedon in 1978. 9 |
