Tattered and Tornby elizadebComment: looks like it was overcontrasted, but I like the effect. I get this overall sense of looking at something I shouldn't be looking at... a feeling of trespassing. 7 |

Bad feather dayby MelethiaComment: good composition. the regularity of the fenceposts make a pleasing foil for the disheveled bird. 7 |

autumnby mattforbesComment: the single leaf, the single strand of hair, while others went looking for the biggest and baddest, you simply turned up the sensitivity of your instrument and found the gentlest touch of wind. 8 |

October Windby Judith PolakoffComment: I like the tilt. It exaggerates the wind effect and creates an overall disorientation appropriate for the challenge. Nice soft tones, too. 8 |

Shadow of the Windby noranekoComment: Boys and Kites
The world looks folded in three,
sky on water on white sand.
In the crease run little boys
away from their laughing kites,
the brilliant colors stretched
on a geometric frame.
Capable of flight, prone
to crashes, they are
hard on themselves, rigid, yet
they fall so bravely,
headlong into shore.
A boy running with a frail string
gripped in both hands
knows unhappiness,
feels it bouncing just behind. |

Time for my Bathby MPRPROComment: I love the "old photo" look of this, except the nude doesn't have this look, which throws off the whole picture. 5 |

Halloween Treeby jaysonmcComment: my eye keeps getting drawn to that boring patch of grass in the lower left, but other than that it's a very cool photo. 7 |
