I like how the composition with the broken stick struggles against the reality of what we're seeing: the strong, living legs of the players. For me, a picture doesn't have to be perfect to get a 10. It just has to go somewhere new, and go there with a certain amount of style and/or a certain boldness. 10

I contain multitudes. This is a photograph Walt Whitman would take. It is truly astounding. For taking a picture that I cannot understand or conceive, I can only give you the Posthumous Blue Ribbon. It is my only recourse!

The beauty of this struck me immediately, the moving forms, the diagonal lines and diagonalness of the composition. But then I saw the title and realized I was witnessing the joy of a child. So touching. 10

This is perhaps the most immersive photo in the challenge. Beyond being a picture of the street, it puts me in the street. And I can barely keep my head above it! Such energy! And your title allows a little ironic distance, like the perfect palate cleanser. 10
