Waiting for Darkby JuliBocComment: I like this. I'm kinda cursing those anachronistic resin chairs though. I love what you did with the crop/perspective especially with how the 'roof' appears - and the placement of the elvis poster is perfect. The colors are pretty good as is, but if I were experimenting, I might try fooling around with hues, saturation and contrasts to make them even more 'vintage' looking. Anyway, this was a great choice of subject for the challenge and deserved a better score. |

La-Z-Boy afternoonby snafflesComment: I'm surprised that more people didn't 'get' this. I loved the humorous perspective. Actually this reminds me a lot of what I did to posthumous for the Indulgence challenge ;-) |

Portrait Of PeggySue by naomikComment: This is absolutely terrific and really out there. I enjoyed it very much, a 10 from me. But it's just too scary to put in my favorites ;-) (ok.. I may relent...) |

Life Along The Canalby GreetmirComment: Pretty scene :) Regarding the processing, my opinion is that you need some of your blacks back to balance the tones. The lack of shadows makes it look a bit washed out, and without darker tones, the greens really overwhelm and the biker is lost. Also, you might enhance some warmer tones to complement and offset the green and the blue tint of bright sunlight. A lot of these things can be accomplished using a combination of levels and selective color. Alternatively, if you want to keep it very artsy, you could try blending one of the artistic filters that feature black dots or strokes, like poster edges or ink outlines. Thanks for sharing this. Have fun experimenting :) |

Stary Nightby EmerkazaComment: I think it's really lovely. It's certainly not fake-looking by dpc standards! ;-) Interesting idea to convert it and an impressive editing job! |

Handy.jpgby kdkaboomComment: You know, this is a mighty cool piece of art. But I also notice that this is one mighty hot portrait of the boomer - you got a Christina Ricci thing going on there, Edwina Scissorshands. |
