Murano Redby npaselComment: This was in my top 10 - it looks like something on the wall at MOMA. Love the way it curves up at the ends and the magnitude of saturation you achieved. Frame is just right too. Congrats on a personal top 5 photo! |

1-sept 09 macro. pollenator by rozComment: Many from the macro crowd just want the most accurate photo possible - which in itself is not a problem, especially if you're into bug identification, but rarely is it art. You altered the clinical perfection of your photo in order to accentuate its innate theme. Sometimes in post-processing a photo, we try to bring out something that may not have been easily seen at the snapshot level. To help your photo communicate its esssence, you've gone against the grain, and added grain and made a discovery. Cool!

getting outby tnunComment: oh dear. look at this mess of textures and tones. why it's more like an one of them obtuse abstracts than an upstanding, representational, clinically accurate photograph. and that black thing in the middle, it's impersonating a heart shape. ....the nerve! your punishment is that you must submit several more photos to this side challenge. we're waiting. |
