I like the expressions, good timing and framing. However, I am not too fond of the postprocessing, I find the artefacts in the background and the color cast a bit too strong.

A pretty difficult light to cope with, I think. I like the pose, the detail in the shadow and the rim of light around the face. More detail in the highlights would have been great but the range is pretty extreme. Was this taken in raw?

Always a very good concept but also, if the girls is a beggar as she seems, a very common view. If the idea was to convey the attempt of the passer by to ignore the beggar, maybe capturing a more extreme attitude, such a turning of the face, would have made for a stronger image.
