Hi-
The throw in she is doing is farely common in many areas. Not "common" however because it takes a good deal of athletic ability to perform. However it is more commonly seen in the high school age range for soccer players as the professionals have less room on the sidelines to perform this...

When I played in high school we scored the winning goal in overtime on a throw in like this!
