cool use of selective desaturation. I feel the most intresting part of the shot isn't the shadow of the vase but the colored flower in the light and the b&w flower in the shadow. It has a very Ying-Yang feel to it.

Nice compositon and use of light. I do like how the shadow is blue, as it compliments the orange color of the potato. I do feel it is a bit oversharpend on the edges and would benifit from toning that down a bit. Good job

white feather

looks oof and lacks intresting shadows from the feather. If the feather is white it appears to be red in the shot, maybe a color balance correction is needed or a different light source.

cool shot, I like the sunflare but wonder if this would have benifited from the bridge being straight in the photo. I do like how the bridge frames the runners in the shot.

Can't Outrun the Shadow

Great pan-action shot! The rider is tack sharp with the background motion blured out perfectly which enhances the look of the rider moving fast. The composition is very good as well as are the colors. The blown out highlight on the bike doesn't distract too much but a bit of burning might help it out a bit. I do find this a bit of a stretch for the challenge because I don't feel the shadow plays a key part of the shot. Regardless, this is an awsome shot!
