Thanks for all the comments, and yes I know it is not possible to say that this photo is strongly related shadows :)
It was a last minute decision to send it in for this challenge... and perhaps I should have sent it in the freestudy challenge :P oh well... :)

Nice work with the panning but its very boring and the shadow is very small and somewhat hard to find. 4

Extremely well taken action shot! The focus is perfect... even the tires show focus with action involved. Wish i could claim this as my entry!! Sigh!!

Would love to see the other shots you took while getting this spectacular one!! (9)

Great pan-action shot! The rider is tack sharp with the background motion blured out perfectly which enhances the look of the rider moving fast. The composition is very good as well as are the colors. The blown out highlight on the bike doesn't distract too much but a bit of burning might help it out a bit. I do find this a bit of a stretch for the challenge because I don't feel the shadow plays a key part of the shot. Regardless, this is an awsome shot!

Excellent shot but it doesn't really put the focus on the shadow for this theme, unless his nickname is shadow. The action is great!
