nice portrait with lots of detail in the face. I think the tone really adds to the old cowboy look. I do think his eyes look a bit soft in comparison to how sharp his face his, could just be me though.

This is a very sobering shot, very emotive. I think that the focus is spot on with just enough OOF area in the front and back of the frame. The subtle lines are great and lead you through the frame. My only issue is that I feel that this is not a true Duo tone in the traditional sense. I'm very torn with this shot as I feel that it is one of the deeper more meaningful shots I've seen in quite some time but that I think it stretches outside the boundry of the challenge. If this were a freestudy shot I would give a ten but I'm going to give it 7. good luck and great shot!
