LLOuttake2.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Great lines and smooth curves in this shot and as the others have stated the people really add a scale to this shot. Very cool shot and I really like the the overhead lighting, cool building! |

IMG_4748-01.JPGby beneeComment: Nice candid and what a great smile. Nice available lighting the soft focus doesn't distract to much, imo. i might crop down teh top just a bit over the grooms head, but that is just a matter of taste. |

Week 8: Mysterious Maryby jasonlpriceComment: Great lighting and nicely set up. I really like the on the floor angle you shot this in as it brings you down to her level. This has a great emotive and somber feel to it, like a girl scorned by her friends left to sulk in the hall and contemplate what went wrong. nicely done! |

Times Square (e301 perspective)by pawdrixComment: Very nice! First, city shots work so well in b&w especially when there is so much going on in the frame, so great choice for b&w. Second, you really captured the essence of Times Sqaure with the bright lights, ads and the general hustle & bustle of life there. The motion blur enhances the chaotic, constant on the move feel of the city. Awsome, nicely done! |

Beckaby of-snowComment: I like the composition and the pose seems nice to me. The backlighting is nice though I would boost the brightness in her face as it seems a bit dim as it is now and would really pop off the dark tree. Nice portrait of a pretty model. |

jetty railby VeioletsComment: I like that you managed to get teh red in the railing and the water reflection. I also feel that I would like to see this in all b&w b/c as it stands the railing does pop due to the color it doesn;t seem to be the main focus of this composition. Maybe a tighter crop for the selective desat or different angle and closer perspective, as Jason suggested, would make the railing more the main focus. |
