Read your description and still dont think I could have pulled it off at all, lol. Congrats on the top 10 finish - well deserved.

Grapes of Wrathby Art RoflmaoComment: 19th place with a crazy score of 6.441 is your idea of "destined for the bottom of the heap" series? I'm beat, Art! No, I think I'm quitting! And all thanks to you for discouraging me! How could your "destined for the bottom of the heap" pictures do so well, while my "destined to ribbon" photos get crappy 4.x scores? LOL
Anyway, was checking your profile for latest submissions and saw this one. I must say, it's hilarious! Sorry didn't vote for the Literary Challenge. The grapes reminded me of Mr potato head, lol - I wonder if you've watched their cartoons before.
Congrats on the 19th placement! |

DEVOTIONby RikkiComment: Hi Rikki,
of all the "surviving" photos from your Japan trip (why did u remove them? lol), this thumbnail caught my fancy the most. I like the colours, and the natural light shining through the smoke. However, just one tiny complaint is that the photo looks like it has gone through too much NR, a little plasticky especially on the person's skin and the big urn in front? Just my personal opinion tho, and I still like it. cheers! |

I find this a clever photo with 2 elements to describe the "eventuality" of things. Guess some voters didn't get the point of it. Still, a smart photo. |
