Glacier reflectionsby ShutterPugComment: Oh My, this is beautiful!! I love the compositon, reflections and colours :o) Only thing I am not too sure about is the loss of detail in certain parts of the mountains (glaciers?) where they meet the water. Still, not a scene I get to see very often! :o) |

Low Tideby ShutterPugComment: I really like how you have the land going across the front of the image and the colours are beautiful. It looks like you could walk over to the mountains from where you are standing!?! |

bellsby ShutterPugComment: Lovely composition and nicely exposed but I am struggling to find the focus (could be my eyes). I'd like to have seen most of the white flowers in focus I think :o) |

Center of Attentionby ShutterPugComment: Oh my! Isn't this lens just wonderful! I borrowed it for a few weeks earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with it!! The colours in this image are so beautiful and the detail is amazing! It's a shame the head (?) of this creature wasn't totally in focus but I don't think it ruins the shot completely :o) |

Eagle River by ShutterPugComment: It looks so peaceful here! :o) At first glance I would have been tempted to crop a little of the foreground water out, maybe to the first outcrop of land on the right, but looking at it for longer I think I like the way the water fills the whole of the bottom of the frame. Colours are excellent and the way the water meanders really pulls the viewer into the image :o) |

Watcherby rinacComment: Well I just made my way here to leave a comment and have to say GO RINA! Although you should never have had to justify your image or your actions, once placed in that position you have shown us all that how an image matches a challenge is down to how the photographer perceives that challenge and how they make the most of their surroundings.
What the voter than has to take a moment to do is see the world through the eyes of that photographer. I fear that Bob has a very limited 'view' of the world...My dictionary tells me the following... Candid - informal; unposed: a candid photo. ...nowhere does it suggest a candid to be a photograph ONLY of a stranger...
Rina, this is a nicely taken well edited image and deserves the great score it received! :o) |

Healing the inner scarsby obsidianComment: Sorry to see this was DQ'd but so glad you entered. I know that scars can bring people so much upset and can be quite ugly but there is something so strong about a person who can show those scars and keep smiling...I love the idea here and hope that your wife continues in good health. |
