Spring Blooms Eternalby fldaveComment: What beautiful flowers. I really like the colours and background bokeh but would like to have seen more detail in the petals and centre of the flower. I also think that the border is too bold for this image.
This is just my humble opinion :o) |

Stare Downby killjoy181Comment: Lovely detail in the fur :o) I would have liked to see the eyes pinsharp but do like your close up composition :o)

Black and Redby krukvaextComment: I like the detail in some areas of the glass and how some of it blends into the background but I find the overall subject quite unappealing. I can't find a connection between the pepper and the glass/liquid. I also think your lighting could do with a little work as the area on the left of the glass has a large blown out patch.
This is just my humble opinion :o) |

Tiger Lickby bobonacusComment: Lovely colours and nice bokeh. To my eyes it doesn't look like the Tigers eyes/face are pinsharp which, for me, would have added an extra point.
This is just my humble opinion (and I am wearing my glasses!) :o) |

first winter fireworksby torkioComment: I love the intricate detail you can find in the centre of a flower! I would like to have seen more of the centre in focus and possibly a shallower DOF on the petals so the bad parts on the petals weren't too noticeable.
This is just my humble opinion. |

Bubo scandiacus by Ecce_SignumComment: Dear, dear dear...how many bird shots are there in this challenge?! ;o)
Seriously, I think this is an excellent shot. I love the post processing and wonderful colour in the Owl's eyes. I think the detail in the feathers around and just underneath the beak is very nice and the close up composition really makes this a captivating shot. I hope it does well for you :o)
Note: I am not voting on this image. |

Color Reflectionby jbabalaComment: The reflection is great here and your lighting is really nice. I like that you have everything in the image pin sharp but I am struggling to understand why you have posted such a small sized image? A larger sized shot would have made have helped this I think.

Valley Steelby bmartuchComment: I like the olde worlde feel you have given this shot and think the sepia works nicely. I find the subject a little boring and feel the building is too central in the frame. I am also distracted by the blown out area in the sky. I think having something intersting right in the foreground of your image so that you appear to be shooting across them and up to the building, maybe those pieces of wood on the left, might have made this a bit more interesting.
This is just my humble opinion. |

Carnivalby noranekoComment: Really beautiful colours and detail in this image, I find myself finding something new each time I look at it. Great use of DOF too...what sort of plant/flower is this? |
